Joomla Module : YouTube Video
As part of our YouTube/Joomla series we are now making the following module available for free download. The module is licenses under the GNU/GPL.
Copy and paste your YouTube Video URL into the module parameters and optionally set the height and width for the video.
Account Manager Extension for Joomla
Anything that makes my working day easier is a bonus. Firefox have announced the start of their integration of an "Account Manager" into Firefox as part of their "Online Identity" series, you can view the full article here. The idea is based on a draft specification so I'm sure details will change.
We have written the login and logout methods for this new Account Manager, a download is available on request.
Joomla Content Plugin : YouTube Video
Easily add YouTube videos to your content articles. All you need to do is to copy and paste the URL from YouTube into your articles.
URLs can be in any of the following formats.
- http://www.youtube.com/user/username#p/a/u/0/abcdefghijk
- http://www.youtube.com/username#p/a/u/1/abcdefghijk
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdefghijk

Update 03/09/2009: Version 1.1 now has 2 parameters that enable you to set the width and the height of the embedded YouTube window.
Update 03/06/2010: Version 1.2 now uses SWFObject javascript to embed the player. Also includes added support for more YouTube URL formats.
